These drawings are sooooo good. They work So well as a set - I want them. I really like the idea that the basis of the image is the same - when you look at it, its clear that all 4 faces are the same - just by changing the hair, the colour, the hands and tattoos, it makes them all look different (obviously). Also the soft yet slightly textured colouring to the image makes them look so girly when in reality, they're a bit gross...and dead. I just really like these.
Clearly these two are inspired by tattoos/old school tattoos. This is something that I am inspired by myself and Rik Lee shows that by simply digitising them, its adds a modern twist to an otherwise traditional style.
